Nikki Bowen
Founder and Owner
Nikki Bowen is the Founder and Owner of Equitable Title, LLC and boasts more than two decades of experience in the real estate and title industry. She began her career in title in 2000, building a deep understanding of real estate transactions from the ground up. Along the way, Nikki took a brief but enriching hiatus to pursue her passion for culinary arts, studying in both New York City and Italy—an experience that sharpened her creativity, discipline, and attention to detail.

In 2019, Nikki took another bold step forward, enrolling as an evening student at the University of Baltimore School of Law. She graduated in 2023 with honors and was admitted to practice law in both Maryland and Pennsylvania shortly thereafter. Today, she proudly serves clients as both a title professional and an attorney, offering a unique combination of practical experience and legal expertise.

Deeply committed to the real estate community, Nikki has served on the Board of Directors for the Cecil County Board of Realtors and has volunteered on numerous committees supporting industry professionals throughout the region.

Nikki resides on the “South Side” of Chesapeake City. Outside of work, she enjoys riding her Harley, traveling, entertaining friends, and spending time with her German Shorthaired Pointer, Josie.

Kacey Yates
Settlement Agent/Processor
Kacey Yates is a Settlement Agent and Processor with a strong legal background and a detail-oriented approach to every transaction. Admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2019 and the Delaware Bar in 2025, Kacey has been working in title since 2022, examining title searches, preparing title documents, coordinating settlements, and conducting closings. She is dedicated to guiding clients through the process with clear communication and reliable support, ensuring each closing is handled accurately and efficiently.
Outside of work, Kacey enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Burrow, reading a good book, and cheering on the Orioles and Ravens.

Lizz Wilt
Administrative Assistant
Lizz Wilt is the Administrative Assistant at Equitable Title, where she provides support to the title team and assistance to buyers and sellers. With prior experience as a Realtor and transaction coordinator, Lizz brings a knowledge of the challenges that agents face, allowing her to bring an empathetic spirit to each transaction.​
Outside of the office, Elizabeth enjoys an active and creative lifestyle. She loves dirt bike riding with her husband, hiking with her dogs, reading, painting, drawing, and the occasional horseback ride. Always eager for a new adventure, she enjoys trying new experiences whenever she can.
